LOVE FOR HORSE AND DOG.
A sentence from the will of Mr. George Edgar Newton, of Lacock, Wiltshire, reads:—"l express the hope that my favourite horse and dog at tho time of my death may not either ho given away or sold, but that unless they can be kept during tho remainder of their respective lives by my family they should be destroyed." Mr. Newton left £41,098 net.
