NEW PRESIDENT ELECTED. HONOUR FOR MR. H. MANDENO. [TIY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WELLINGTON. Thursday. Mr. H. Mandeno, of Otago, has been elected president of the New Zealand Institute of Architects. Mr. Mandeno is a member of the firm of Mandeno and Fraser. registered architects, of Dunedin. Born in Auckland, he commenced the practice of his profession in Dunedin and is well known in architectural circles throughout the country. Ho has always taken a keen interest in matters affecting his fellow architects and their profession, and has been in practice for over 20 yearS. He became a member of the institute at its incorporation in 1913, and is a fellow of the body of which he is now also the head.
