CONTRACT BY MR. CHAPLIN. EXHIBITION IN LONDON. LONDON, Feb. 8. English film makers and exhibitors aie astounded at Mr. Charlie Chaplin s bargain with IVlobs Empires, Ltd., to present his film "City Lights" at the Dominion Theatre, London. Mr. Chaplin is to receive 60 per cent, of the box office takings.

Assuming that the house is filled three times a day the receipts will be £12,000 a week, so that a run of 12 will assure Mr. Chaplin nearly £90,000. When he first left London Mr. Chaplin was earning 40s a week.
