EARTHQUAKE AFTERMATH

[BY TELEGRAPH. —FRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Monday.

A special session of Parliament, to commence on Wednesday, March 11, is to bo called for the purpose of dealing with tho economic position of the country as well as any legislation that may be necessary as a result of the earthquake in Hawke's Bay.

This announcement was made by the Prime Minister shortly before his departure from Wellington by special train for tho earthquake zone this evening.
