WOULD-BE ASSASSIN.

ARREST IN ROME. PLOT TO KILL THE KING.' ROME, Feb. 6. Michele Schiro, who recently returned to Italy from America, and had been spending money lavishly, was arrested in the doorway of the Foreign Office, Rome, in possession of bombs. The man confessed that he had intended to attempt the life either of Signor Mussolini or the King. Schiro desperately resisted the police. He drew a revolver and shot five of the policemen, three being seriously wounded, then turned the weapon on himself and inflicted a serious wound in his head. When Schiro's house was searched by the police they found a miniature arsenal of bombs and arms.
