CRICKET AT ADELAIDE.
WEST INDIES BATTING. SIX WICKETS FOR 303. (Received February 8, 5.5 p.m.) ADELAIDE. Feb. 8. The weather and the wicket were ideal for the match South Australia against the West Indies. The visitors batted first and were more restrained than previously, and defensive tactics were mainly adopted. Ileadley took 50 minutes to reach doublo figures. Grimmett was again puzzling. A bright spot was Constantine's stand. He made 63 in 51 minutes. His score included 10 foursi He scored 15 in one over, including three fours. Grant again batted solidly.
