The final series of matches in the first round of tho Auckland Cricket Association's senior championship was concluded on Saturday under ideal playing conditions. Grafton is leading by one point from Ponsonhy, Eden and University, which arc all equal in second place. Webb (26), failed to cope with tho attack, and tho sido was dismissed for lot runs. T. W. Cooper was the most troublesome bowler, keeping a good length to secure six wickets for '2l runs.
