TRAIN STRIKES DRAY.

CROSSING AT WAITOA YOUNG MAN IN HOSPITAL. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON, Friday. A collision between the TaurangaAuckland express and a loaded milk dray on a level crossing at Waitoa last evening, resulted in the driver of the dray, Mr. H. A. Barlow, aged 20, being admitted to the Waikato Hospital suffering from injuries to the back and right shoulder. His condition is stated to be satisfactory. The horse was dragged 50ft. by the train and had to be destroyed. The accident caused the train to be delayed about 10 minutes.
