ICED CHOCOLATE BUNS.

Four ounces flour, 2oz. plain chocolate, loz. sugar, 2oz. butter, ono egg, one tablespoonful milk, bicarbonate of soda that will stand on a threepenny piece, 4oz. icing sugar, 2oz. milk chocolate. Cream butter and sugar; beat yolk and white of egg separately. Melb plain chocolate over hot water, add beaten yolk and the melted chocolate to tho butter and sugar, and beat thoroughly. Sieve soda and flour and beat gradually into the mixture. Stir in the whipped white and tho milk, three parts fill patty pans and bake 15 minutes in moderato oven. When cold ice with tho following:—Break tho milk chocolate and pour over it two tablespoonfuls of boiling water and stir until melted, sift in gradually the icing sugar. Stir until liquid, pour some over each bun, and place half a walnut on each.
