INTOXICATED MOTORIST.
FINE OF £lO IMPOSED. [BY TELEGRAPH. 'OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] HAMILTON, Friday. A charge of being intoxicated while in charge of a motor-lorry was admitted by Evan Robert Williams, skin-buyer, Hamilton, in the Hamilton Magistrate's Court to-day.
Senior-Sergeant Sweeney said defendant was found in his vehicle early last evening in an advanced state of intoxication. The vehicle was stationary. Defendant was a respectable resident of many years' standing. The magistrate, Air. J. G, L. Hewitt, imposed a fine of £lO.
