TOURNEY AT MANUREWA.

The Manurewa Bowling Club held a successful full-rink tournament under perfect conditions. Tho entries were not quite so numerous as usual, but were representative of many surrounding districts. _ The visitors were welcomed by tho president, Mr; J. ' Murrayi who also presented the trophies to the winning team, Bayliss' Papatoetoo rink, which won all five rounds. C. P. Downey (Olahuliu) and Hollier (Mangere) each scored four wins and one loss.

TAURANGA, Thursday.

A pairs tournament was held on the-'Tau-ranga South Bowling Club's groon for two club badges presented by the president. Mr. Fergus Boyd. Six teams competed and throe teams tied In the. play-off Roulston and Walker beat Tutchen and Dagley. The final between Walker jgjud Mearus was unfinished owing to rain.
