OTOROHANGA SPORTS CLUB. SUCCESS OF PAST YEAR. [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] OTOROHANGA, Thursday. The report presented at the annual meeting of the Otorohanga Sports Club stated that the past year's events had been most successful and that the year closed with a credit balance of over £IBO. Plant was valued at £47, The election of officers resulted:—Patrons, Messrs. W. J. Broadfoot and J. C. Rollca<on; president, Mr. J. A". Ormsby; viceprsidents. same as last year; executive committee, Messrs. M. Pratt. E. F. Fairbrother, V. L. Fairbrother, J. C. Vincent and K. Smith; secretary, Mr. H. E. Lawrence; handicappers, Messrs. L. T. McAneny and C. L. Hardy ; judges. Messrs. T. Taylor, H. C. Alexander, "\V. Anderson, E. F l . Fairbrother and T. McCready; stewards, Messrs. T. McCready, A. J. McCready and J. Quin; starters, Messrs. M. Pratt and A. J. McCready; timekeeper, Mr. G. Halliday; hon. surgeon. Dr. Gilberd. A general committee of 19 members was appointed. The annual sports will take place on Easter Monday.
