EXTRA HALF-DAY HOLIDAY.
MEN ON WELLINGTON STAFF.

The men of (ho permanent way and overhead branches of the Wellington City Tramway Department have agreed to take half a day off each week, commencing from to-morrow. This is the outcome of proposals aimed at procuring economy in the tramway services.
