Jackie's parents were both stage actors. Bis father, Jack Coogan, was one of the best soft-shoo eccentric dancers of the vaudeville stage. His mother was Lillian Dolliver, and was in vaudeville with Bona Rogers. Si it zi Green 'y father and mother arc Joe Keno and Rosio Green, well-known as a vaudeville dancing team. Keno lias touied Europe, making appearances I efore King George and King Allonso of Spain. Junior Purkin's mother was Florence Edwards, a well-known New York stage actress before her marriage. He has two sisters, Grace and Gertrude, both of whom have been in numerous stage productions.
