OLD RAILWAY STATION.
The old railway station buildings are rapidly disappearing under the onslaught of axe and hammer and crowbar, and little remains but heaps of timber and a few brick walls that will not long remain standing. The Survey Department is preparing plans for the laying out of the site, but its future use is still a matler of negotiation between the Railway Department and the City Council.
