FORGED £lO NOTES.
DISCOVERY AT RANDWICK. Ninety-six forged £lO notes were found bundled up in a carefully-concealed position in an outhouse at Randwick racecourse, Sydney, on December. 19. The discovery was made by a caretaker. The notes had been manipulated in such a way as to make them lose their freshness. They bore numbers which were not consecutive. They would have passed for genuine notes in the ordinary liuisy racecourse transactions.
