FOOD AND CLOTHING.
RABBIT-BREEDING SCHEME. LONDON, Dec. % The doubling of Russia's ing industry is the best means of coping with the meat and clothing crisis, according to a conference of specialists convoked at Moscow. Following upon the success of experiments with four truckloads of pedigree rabbits from Germany, it was says the Riga correspondent of the Times, to establish a State farm of 3000 acres near tho Black Sea, which would become the centre of the industry. The experimental farms are expected sooq to reach the paying stage, which will enable "the rabbit-front" to be industrialised by the end of 1931. The conference also directed attention to the necessity of breeding pigs for food.
