MOUNT ROSKILL INTERESTS
THE / THREE KINGS ROAD.
The Roskill Road Board met on Tuesday evening, Mr. E. F. Jones presiding. The Mount. Eden Borough Council suggested that (he concreting of the portion of Three/Kings Road in the Mount Eden district, about "one chain, should be brought, tip'to one-half of the intersection of Mount Eden Road and Landscape Road. It was pointed out. that the board had no power to spend rates out of its district. The engineer reported that the concrete pavement in the part of Three Kings Road under the board's control had been "" laid along the whole of the western side of'the road and about a quarter of the eastern The contractors were well advanced with the work. The drainage contracts were also proceeding satisfactorily. The owners o? the Seaview Estate denied that were retarding the progress of trie district leasing a portion of their 'V. Chinese gardens. The lessors houlcl .they desire to do so.
