CRASH AT SHANGHAI.
FIRST AIR MAIL TRAGEDY. THREE PEOPLE KILLED. FOUR OTHERS INJURED. By TelcGinph—Press Association— Copyright. (Received December 9, 10.5 p.m.) SHANGHAI. Dec. 9. The Hankow air mail machine crashed to-day at Shanghai while taking off. The pilot, Faul Baer, an American, a Chinese, and Airs. Andrcova, a Russian, were killed.
General Hsiung Shi-wei, garrison commander, and three Chinese passengers were seriously injured.

Tho machine was rising from the Whang-poo River when it struck the mast of a junk. One wing was torn off and the aeroplane crashed into the river. The Chinese who was killed was the copilot.
