PAYMENT FDR PIECEWORK.

The decision of tbe Arbitration Court in an application [or an interpretation of the New Zealand Typographical Award concerning the method of measuring sis and seven-point type for piecework pay was delivered yesterday. The Court said that the correct method of ascertaining the multiplier fo.r six-point and sevenpoint type was to take the average number of actual letter matrices and spacebands per line, and not the number of en quad matrices per line. Mr. L. M. Monteith, workers' representative on the Court, disagreed "with the decision.
