THIEVES AT TAKAKA.
THREE SHOPS ENTERED.
JEWELLERY WORTH £3OO TAKEN
[BY TELEGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.] NELSON, Friday.
Three premises were broken into at Takaka early this morning. One was the jewellery shop of Mr. H. J. Thomson, from which about £3OO worth of goods are missing. From Kirk and Company's premises two cases of benzine were taken, and cheese, biscuits and a quantity of drapery was taken from Mr. Wadsworth's 6hop. Some unauthorised persons also visited the wharf.
