A sensation whs caused in football circles in Wigali, says the Yorkshire Post, when it became known that the }Vignn Rusb.v League Football Club had placed four prominout players on the transfer list. Ibo players are Loi. Brown, right-wing three quarter Albert Falwnsser,. wing threequarter or centre*. Dai Jones, forward; find Frank Stephens forward Brown joined TVigan in 1927, following the visit of the New Zealand League team to this country in 192(i. of which he was a member. He baa a, brilliant record as a scoring wing-man and is one of the fastest players in the Rugby League. Falwasser joined AViean only a few months aeo. lie was a member of the last Maori louring team and is very fast, with a splendid swerve. Jones and Stephens are both Welshmen. Stephens joined Wigan in 1925 and Jones in 1927.
