The Government steamer Matai mailed for t!ie lighthouses in the TTauraki Gulf last evening. The vessel will return to Auckland to-morrow before sho proceeds to northern lighthouses. The Kartigi and Kamona were again barbound at Greymouth yesterday morning. It was hoped that they would sail at midday, the Kartigi for Auckland direct and the Kamona for Auckland, via Westport and Napier. The intercolonial, motor-ship Port Waikato was to leave Tauranga for Waikokopu yesterday to complete unloading. Sho will then proceed to Dunedin, Timaru and Lyttelton to load for Tauranga, Whangarci and Dargaville. The Kaimanawa was due at AVestport and the Kaimiro at Greymouth yesterday. Both vessels arc to load for Auckland. Tho Kaponga is due at Greymouth about Friday and will also load for Auckland. The Kaimanawa is oxiyclvl to leave Westport at ono o'clock this afternoon. The Waipiata arrived at Lyttelton from Timaru on Sunday morning and is to sail for Wellington and Auckland this afternoon. Ihe vessel is expected at this port about Friday evening nnd she is <o be despatched at the end ,of the week for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru. THE POLZELLA. The steamer Polzella is expected to complete unloading s.ugar from Java at Chelsea next Tuesday, Her futuro movements have not been announced. CARGO FROM AUSTRALIA. En route from Devonport, Tasmania, and Adelaide, the Ivurow is expected to leave Melbourne to-day for Auckland, New Plymouth, Tarakohe, Wellington and Lyttelton. Sho is due at Auckland early next week. THE ULIMAROA. The Huddart-Parker steamer Ulimaroa is due at Wellington from Sydney this morning and passengers and mail for north are expected to reach Auckland by train to-morrow morning. The vessel is to leave WeUington on her return trip to Sydney oil Friday. POIIT HUON AT COLON. Reported to have reached Colon on Saturday the Commonwealth and Dominion motorship Port Huon is en route from London to Auckland and "Wellington. She i 3 due at Auckland on December 12. Before coming into port to discharge general merchandise the vessel will unload explosives at the Motuihi anchorage. CITY OF DELHI LEAVES NEW YORK. The Ellerman-Hall Lino steamer City of Delhi is reported to have cleared Now York last Saturday for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The vessel is under charter to the A. and A. Line and the New Zealand Shipping Company are the local agents. Slie is scheduled to reach Auckland about December 18. GOLDEN COAST REPORTS. Wireless advice received by Henderson and Macfarlane, Limited, from the Oceanic and Oriental Navigation Company's steamer Golden Coast states that she will arrive from Los Angeles early to-morrow, a day ahead of schedule. The vessel has timber, case oil and general merchandise from Pacific Coast ports for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. TOFUA IN PORT. With passengers, mail and cargo from Tonga, Samoa and Fiji, the Union Company's Island steamer Tofua arrived from Suva early yesterday morning. Sho is at Central Wharf and is to sail on her return trip to the Islands at eleven o'clock on Saturday morning. Strong westerly winds and rough seas during the passage from Suva to Auckland delayed her arrival. ONEdUNGA SHIPPING DELAYED. Owing to tho continuation of stormy weather on the west coast tho Manukau Bar was unworkable yesterday and is delaying shipping. Tho Hauturu left Onehunga for New Plymouth yesterday afternoon and anchored at tho heads to wait for the conditions to improve. At seven o'clock this morning tho Arapawa is to bo despatched for Wanganni and the Ronaki for Hokianga. They were to have sailed yesterday. HUNTINGDON IN* BALLAST. The New Zealand Shipping Company has received advice that the Federal Line steamer Huntingdon was despatched from Falmouth for New Zealand on November 17, in ballast, to load refrigerated and general cargo for England. The vessel's loading ports have not been announced. She is scheduled to reach New Zealand about December 30. MAUNGANUI AND MONOWAI % The Union Company's liner Maunganui arrived at Sydney from Wellington at eight o'clock on Saturday morning, having completed her voyage from San Frnncisco. The vessel is to leavo Sydney on Thursday for Wellington, where she is due next Monday. At Wellington the Maunganui's passengers, mail and cargo for Island ports and San Francisco will be transferred to tho company's newly-acauired liner Monowni. which is being commissioned in tho Pacific Mai' service, in place of the ill-fated Tahiti, and is to leave Wellington for Rarotonga, Papeete and San Francisco next Tuesday. The Maunganui will transfer to the intercolonial service and is scheduled to leave Wellington for Sydney and Auckland on December 12. She will run in the intercolonial service in conjunction with the Mamma, as was done before the curtailment of the service. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE.
