A STAFF DANCE.

An attractive scone was presented in tho Romano Cabaret last evening when the staff of Woolworth's (N.Z.), Limited, held its first annual ball. Tho shaded lights cast their vari-colourcd glow over the pretty frocks with charming effect, and bowls of Iceland poppies, African daisies and tea roses, arranged on tho tables, added to tho attractiveness of tho scene. During tho evening a demonstration dance by Miss Margaret O'Connor and Mr. Priestley, and original novelty dances by the lloniano Boys were greatly ap] reciatcd.
