To make a pudding sauce quickly take half the contents of a packet of vanilla flavoured cornflour to one pint of milk and half to one ourico of sugar according to taste J Slake the cornflour with a little of tho milk. Bring /remainder of the milk to the boil with the sugar. Remove from fire and pour tho slaked cornflour into jt ytirring well. Then boil for ono minute, stirring all the time. \ Turn into a sauce boat and sorve with iteamed puddings. The flavouring can be varied as cornflour is now obtainable with strawberry, raspberry, leri)ori and vanilla.
