THE MAGIC MATCH.

Try this clever little trick on ycur friends. Place twenty-five matches on the table and then say that you can make him pick up the last match. What you have both to do is to take turns in picking some up, but you must not take more than throe at a time. You can take one, two or three. Tell your friend to start by picking up any number. Suppose he takes one. It is your turn, then, and you take threo. You see you have to make the number up to four each time. If he takes two, you take two; if he takes three, you take one, and so on. As you go on picking up, he will find at the end that there is one match for him to pick up.
