Heroism of miners who tried to rescua John lioger Perry, aged 44, jvlio was suffocated under three feet of earth at Baddesley Colliery, Atherstone, Warwickshire, was warmly praised BL the m* quest. , ririr Perry and another miner, William James Lawlev, were engaged 'in repairing the roof when it foil, and buried them.
