Tho Tai Tapu Dairy Company, Ltd., according to a statement made at tho annua] meeting of shareholders at Tai Tapu this afternoon, holds the record for output in the South Island. Its profit for the year, as shown in the balance-sheet, was £16,456 13s 7d, and its output was the highest in tho history of the company. It was decided that £989 10s 2d should be written off the plant and furnishings; that lid per lb. on butter-fat should, be refunded to suppliers for the period September 1, 1929, to May 31, 1930; that 3d per lb. should be refunded to suppliers on butter-fat supplied during August, 1929. and June and July, 1930. A dividend at the rate of 8 per cent, per annum was declared.

BARNET GLASS RUBBER CO. REDUCTION OF DIVIDEND. Tlio Barnct Glass Rubber Company, Limited, for the 12 months ended June 50 shows a substantial decline in profits. Net income amounts to £70,479, which compares with £127,637 for the preceding year. With £25.359 brought forward, the amount available is £103.838. Dividend on preference shares is 8 per cent., against 10 per cent, paid for 1928-29, and ordinary shareholders receive 6 per cent, against 10 per cent. To reserve £25,000 is transferred, increasing it to £175,000, and £29.883 is carried forward. ■ AUSTRALIAN PRODUCE. (Received September 25, 9.15 p.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 25.
