CHRISTIAN ENDEAVOUR.

CONVENTION IN AUCKLAND. The 38tli annual convention of the Auckland Federation of Christian Endeavour Unions was opened last evening, when a rally was held in the Pitt Street Methoriist Church, A feature of the evening was a procession, which marched to the church from Quay Street before tho service. Led by the Salvation Army band, the procession consisted of about 400 members, many of whom earned banners and signs of their respective churches. In spite of tho dismal weather, there was a good muster at Quay Street when the procession started. Tho service at the church consisted of the induction of new officers, the presentation of diplomas, and an address by the retiring president, tho Rev, H. Knowles Kempton. Miss Twcntyman was the organist.
