SERIES OF MEETINGS. STATUS OF THE DOMINIONS. (Receiver! September IS, 8.5 p.m.) LONDON'. Sept, 17. Tlie first of ;i scries of three Cabinet councils to be held on successive days took pl.icc this morning. The Prime Minister, Mr. Mac Donald, presided and all (he members of the Ministry, except the Foreign Secretary, Mr. Arthur Henderson, who is at Geneva, were present. It is understood that unemployment and various departmental questions are the principal subjects being discussed. The Daily Herald slates that at the four hours' silling of the Cabinet to-day most of the lime was devoted to business connected with the Imperial Conference. The Government, it says, is confronted with some awkward constitutional questions affecting the equality of status botween (he Dominions and Britain. Judicial as well as constitutional diflicultios have to b« fac«d.
