RESULTS AT TE AWAMUTU. [B? TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] TE AWAMUTU. Thursday. The Te Awamutu Gun Club, which was formed a few weeks ago, held its second tournament on Wednesday, when, in a tricky wind, some good shooting resulted. Competitors were present from Hamilton. Otorohanga and Morrinsville, including M. Pratt, the present Dominion champion Following are the results:— Local Shoot, 9 birds, for Mr. G. M. Blair's Trophy.—R. W. Gibson, L. Harford and F. J. Quin tied with seven birds each and in the shoot-off Gibson won. Open Sweepstake, G birds.—G. Thrupp (Morrinsville), M. Pratt (Otorohanga), W. H. Holmes, L. Harford, F. J. Quin. W. F. Woodward and H. Brown tied with five apiece. In the shoot-oft, best of three slhots, Pratt and Holmes each got the possible and divided the stake. Second Open Sweepstake, 12 birds.—M. Pratt got 11 birds, and L. Zimmerman, F. G. Fraser and W. Woolven each got ten. Second Local Shoot, 9 birds.—L. Harford got eight, with Holmes, Brown, L. Marsh and Thrupp seven each. Open Quail Drive, 5 birds.—M. Pratt got tho possible, with Thrupp. Woolven and Zimmerman four apiece.
