Potatoes.—Tasmanian, £6 to £8; Victorian, £6 10s. Onions. —Victorian, Spanish, £5 10s. Oats.—White, 4s. Maize, 4s 3d. LONDON TALLOW SALES. LONDON, Sept. 18. At tho London tallow sales to day 810 casks wore offered and 463 were sold at late rates to 6d decline. Mutton: Fine, 31s; medium, 25s 6d. Beef: Fine, 395; medium, 25s 6d. Dalgely and Company, Limited, has received the following cablegram from its London house, dated September 17:— Tallow: A total of 810 casks was offered and 46 per cent. sold. Prices are 6d lower. Mutton, fine, 31s 6d: miked, good, 27s 6d; inferior, 255. Beef, fair to good, prices unchanged. Tho Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from ils London office, under date of September 17: —Tallow : There is a fair demand. Good mutton, 29s to 29s 6d; good beef, 27s 6<l lo 28s; good mixed, 27s 6(1; gut, 22s to 25s 6d.
