The following information has boon cabled bv the Wailii 'Gold Mining Conipany to its London office:— No. 0 Level. —Martha lode: In the Grand Junction area, now irosscutting north at a point 250 ft. oast. No. 10 Level. —State reef: In Grand Junction area, driving cast for next 17ft. reef is small and little or.no value; now crosscutting north ami south at* a point 261 ft. east No. 11 Level-—Empire lode: Driving east, the next 22ft. assays 16s 3d per ton. The lode is about sft. wide. At 70ft., we have connected to former workings, hv a short crosscut to the south. Driving westward, the next 18ft, assays 24s per ton. The' lode is about sft. wide. At 53ft. a crosscut to the south connected to former workings.
