The last match of the Australian cricketers' tour—against an English eleven at Scarborough—ended to-day in a draw. The visitors collapsed in their first innings after tho fall of the fourth wicket for 214. The remaining seven wickets only added 75 runs. Parker and Rhodes both bowled well McCabe reached his 1000 runs for the season. Bradman had a fourth life before ho was out, just missing his century. Richardson donned the pads in England's second innings, as Oldfield had been injured. Tho opening batsmen played brightly, both hitting sixes. For the eighth time Hornibrook dismissed Duleepsinhji when he looked like making a big score. Richardson stumped Ilobbs and Wyatt. The English tail, like the Australian, failed to wag, and Bradman and Kippax, both slow, secured good bowling figures. Leyland played a sound innings for 50. RHODES RETIRES. OVATION FROM SPECTATORS. FINISHED WITH CRICKET. LONDON, Sept. 12. When Rhodes, the famous Yorkshire cricketer, was bowled for three runs in the closing match of the Australians' tour at Scarborough ho walked back to the pavilion, and the applause could not have been greater had ho made a double century. The spectators were bidding boodbye to one of the greatest crickoters on liis retirement from first-class crickot. Asked how ho felt Rhodes said he could not really say. Ho would miss cricket, but a man could not go on for ever. Wyatt presented Rhodes with the ball with which he had taken his last five wickets.
