In the matter of "Tlio Municipal Corporations Act, 1920," "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 192G," "The Local Government Loans Board Act, 1920," and Amendments and Regulations made thereunder respectively. Tho Body Corporate of the Mayor. Councillors and Burgesses of tho Borough of Mount Eden, known as the Mount Eden Borough Council, hereby give notice, in terms of the "Local Bodies Loans Act. 192G," that they propose to engage in the following undertaking, and being unable to provide tho necessary funds for tho work out of the ordinary revenue of the Mount Eden Borough Council they propose to raise a Special Loan of .£95,000 for the following purpose:— (a) For tho Construction of Permanent Drainage and Sewf.rngo Works within tho Borough and for tho payment of tho Council's proportion of the cost of works beyond tho Borough which are required to provido nil outfall. (b) For tho purpose of securing the repayment of the said Special Loan ft Special Annually Recurring Rate of Sixpence in tho £ will bo made and levied on tho rateable value of all rateable property in tho Borough. (o) It is proposed to mako such loan repayable in !!GJ years and to mako provision for tho payment of a Sinking Fund of 1 per cent, per annum. (d) It is proposed to pay out of the loan moneys the preliminary expenses in connection with the scheme for which the loan is proposed and the cost of raising tho "'loan, but rio interest or sinking fund.
