ICELAND TO AMERICA.
GERMAN AIRMAN'S FLIGHT. BELIEVED NOW AT LABRADOR. (Received August 24, 5.5 p.m.) IS'EW YORK, August 23. A message from St. Johns, Newfoundland, says a German airman, Captain Gronau, who is flying from Iceland to North America, left Greenland to-day and was sighted over Grady, Labrador, at 1 p.m., eastern standard time. Captain Gronau is believed to have landed in Cartwright Bay, Labrador. The captain' of a Hudson Bay steamer, the Baynain, says ho received a radio message from the airman at 2.18 p.m., New York time, saying: "Almost at Cartwright. Expect to land in 10 minutes." There is no radio at Cartwright, so that is tho last available news.
