THE AUCKLAND CLUB.

MEDAL COMPETITION TO WELLS. The final round of the 72 holes medal competition was played by members of the Auckland Golf Club at Middlemore on Saturday under perfect conditions. The leading scores were:—T. It. Brett. 83. 15 —68: V. Wells, 75, 4—71. The competition was won by Wells whose three best not scores in the four rounds were 75, 68 and 71, making a total of 214. His effort was a particularly meritorious one. There was a tio for second place between T. R Brett, 74. 78. 68—220, and R. B. Wilson. 73, 72. 75—220. The George Cup medal, played in conjunction with the final round of the medal competition, was won by T. R. Brett, with a net score of 08. MAUNGAKIEKIE CLUB. In the final, which was played to-day, over 36 holes, Ohlson beat Howden, 4 and 3. At the end of the first 18 holes, Ohlson had a lead of 7. THE ONEWHERO CLUB.
