MISSING GUN CASE.

PALMERSTON BUILDER'S FATE INQUEST TO RESUME TO-DAY. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] PALMERSTON NORTH. Thursday. The inquest concerning the death of Mr. Walter Edwin Price, builder, of Palmerston North, who was found fatally shot on March 5, will be resumed to-morrow. The hearing was adjourned nearly four months ago on account of the illness of one of the principal witnesses. A curious feature of the case was that although the body of Mr. Price was discovered lying in the bedroom of his home the gun which caused the fatal wound could not be found, in spite of diligent and exhaustive searching on the part of the police.
