Reserved judgment in favour of the plaintiff was given to-day by Mr. Justico Reed in the case of Arthur Hirschorn, of Upper Hutt, against Leonard Mcrvyn Wallace, of Wellington. Hirschorn was awarded 11517 damages by a jury in respect of injuries received in a collision on the Hutt Road between his motor-cycle and tho defendant's motor-car and counsel for Wallace moved for a non-suit judgment for his client, or a new trial. Ilis Honor said the jury must be, hold to have found that the defendant was negligent in turning his car to the right in the track of advancing traffic and without giving the required signal, and that such negligence contributed to or was connected with the accident They further found that there was no contributory negligence on tho plaintiff's pari,.
