FOR HOSPITAL PATIENTS.

Mrs. Raoburn, of 135, Grafton Road, vvho recently made an appeal for odds and ends of wool and material to bo mado up into garments by hospital patients for needy children, states that she received numerous parcels in answer to it. Everything given was usod and -contributions wero received from all over New Zealand. Mis. Raeburn now asks for some adult scrap-books for lying-down patients ( too weak to road ; also packs of playing-cards. They are a great lielp in enabling sick men to forget their pains and worries for the time being. Mrs. Raoburn is one of those who believes that in Auckland a distressful need has only to bo known, to bo relieved as soon as possible.
