CONCERT AND DANCE.

A successful concert was held in the Kumeu Hall on Friday evening in aid of the funds for the Riverhead quota of tho dental clinic to be established at Huapai. The programme was given by the children and teachers •of the Riverhead School and included songs, recitations and plays. Assisting artists were Miss Gladys Cain, Miss Joyce Cain and Miss Marjories Thomas, of Auckland, who delighted the audience with their character singing and dancing. At the conclusion of the programme supper was served, followed by dancing, the music being supplied by Mr. C. Nelson, of Huapai. Mr. J. Winchester announced that the required amount had been obtained, with a surplus which was to be used to commence a school library fund. Special mention of the generous responso tho committee had received from the people of Riverhead and surrounding districts was also made.
