ROTARY CONVENTION.
GATHERING IN CHICAGO. j Proceedings at the 25th annual Rotary Convention and District Assembly in Chicago were described in an address given bv Mr. 11. Guthrie, of Duncdin, district governor tor New Zealand, at a luncheon oi the Auckland Rotary Club yesterday. Mr. Guthrie said the New Zealand party reached S.'iri Francisco on the mornirig of June 6. They were met on arrival and a warm welcome was extended there as at all places visited. The arrangements for both the convention and the assembly went through without interruption. The convention was the largest which has been held. Visitors at. tho luncheon yesterday included Mr. o L I'. Free, of Masterton, and Mr. "J. Hogg, of Duncdin, both of whom attended the convention, Mr, L. jßees, of London, Professor C. A. Duniway, of Carleton College, United States, arid Mr. P. E. Verity, of Racine, United Slates.
