Notice is hereby given that the NewLynn Borough Council, in pursuance and exercise of ito powers under the "Municipal Corporations Act. 1920," the "Hating Act, 1925." the "Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909," "The Auckland War Memorial Museum Maintenance Act, 1928," and all amendments thereof, relating thereto, and any other powers enabling it in (hat behalf, intends on MONDAY, the 25th day of August, 1930, to Make and Levy for the year commenced oti the first day of April, 1930, nnd ending on the 31st day of March, 1931. the following Rates, viz.:— A General Rate of Twopence nnd Fivesixteenths of a penny (2 5-lGd). And. further, that in pursuance and exercise of tho powers conferred under tho "Municipal Corporations Act, 1920," the "Knting Act., 1D25." and all amendments thereof, and any other powers enabling it in that behalf, tho New Lynn Borough Council intends on MONDAY, tho 25th day of August, 1930, to Make and Levy for tho year commenced on the first day of April, IO.TO, and ending on tho ,'Ust. day of March, 1931, the following "Water Rates, viz.:— ORDINARY SUPPLY.—In respect of tho Ordinary Supply, upon all lands and buildings to which water is supplied (except supplies by meter) a rate of fotirpenco (id) in the pound (X') on tho unimproved rateable value of nil such property, with a minimum charge of 10s (ten shillings). NON-CONSUMERS.—Upon ull lands and buildings to which water can bo but ia not supplied, situate within one hundred yards from nny part of tho Waterworks, a rate of one penny (Id) in the pound <JC) on tho unimproved rateable value, with a minimum c.hnrgo of 5s (live shillings).
