THE PAKURANGA HUNT.
GOOD DAY AT OPAHEKE. ' '('ho J'akurariga Hunt mot at Mr. J. Little's Inrm, Opaheke, yesterday, iiik! had excellent sport. The hounds ran one hfiro for over nil hour, but eventually lost it. Another strong hare pave a capital hunt over the properties of Messrs. Little. Walker, Kinlock. Llatriek and others, hut was also lost owing to the scent failing in the late afternoon. , ~ There was a big field out. the crump was pood and there was enough jumping to satisfy everyone. Mr. and Mrs. Little hospitably entertained the followers, a kindness tiiiteli appreciated. The hunt, is fortunate in bavins such good friends and sportsmen as tho farmers of Opaheke.
