Last season's operations are described as satisfactory, for during the 1928-29 season a considerable number of pigs came from the North, those pigs were dealt with last season by tho Northern Wairoa Pig Marketing Association. The problem faced by the association some years ago in connection with heavy unexportable baconers is being satisfactorily overcome by the curing of these pifis into heavy sides of bacon. Mr. G. F.
