THE BRITISH TEAM.
Sir,—l would liko every union and tub. union in New Zealand Rugby to mark iU disapproval of the remarks passed by *Mt MeKonzie at Auckland. Such an outburst at a social gathering was in shocking baq tasto and unworthy of the best traditions of British sportsmanship. However, when he was on the job he should have told the Britishers how wo disapprove of some of the tactics of our own players; playing the man and not (he ball is the biggest blot on Now Zealand to-day. 1 would like to-assure the. Britishers that we have admired their play and enjoyed their, visit which has aroused the greatest interest throughout New Zealand. I feel sure that the New Zealand Union will set that our popular guests are secure from insult, at social gatherings at least, in the future. Hawick's Bay.
