prominent Australian businessman, Mr J. M. Paxlon, expressed the opinion to a representative of the Morning Tost that Empire free trade is impossible as far as Australia is concerned. But he said ho saw no reason why preferential trade within the Empire could not be developed for the mutual henefit, of Britain and the Dominions.
