TWO MEN INJURED

Injuries to the head were suffered by a seaman, Mr. Thomas Turner, as the result, of being knocked down by a tramcar in Queen Street between tlie 'J own Hall and the Wellesley Street, intersection about six o'clock on Saturday evening. He was taken by the St.. John Ambulance to the Auckland Hospital. His condition last evening was satisfactory

Thomas Ilargreaves, of Mount Koskill, was knocked down by a tramcar in Queen Street, near the corner of Customs Street, on Saturday evening. He received injuries to the head, but was able to go to his home after medical treatment at the hospital.
