As was the case at. Gißborne the previous week, honours were easy between the Dominion's leading horsemen, H. Gray nnd ■A- E. Ellis, at Timnru on Saturday, when they eaeb rode a winner, Grny scoring on Town Major and Ellis on Xgahue. As 8 result Gray retains his lead of four over Ellis in the winning jockeys' list for the season and, with only one more day's racing "fore the season closes, his position seems "nassailable.
