BRITISH FIRMS CONTRACT.

LONDON. July 10. Messrs. Dorman Long and Co., contractors for the Sydney Harbour bridge, have secured a £250,000 contract to build a new concrete bridge over the Nilo at Cairo to replace the one built in 1870, says the Alexandria correspondent of the Times.
